Position: Sourdough Bread Baker – Experience Required
Must be able to meet the following criteria:
-Experience shaping high hydration doughs (home baking experience will be considered).
-A passion for achieving high quality and learning commercial production of sourdough bread
-Operate a Google/Microsoft Office spreadsheet
-MUST have availability Thurs-Sat, with some shifts beginning before 7AM during busy holidays/events, etc.
-Be capable of lifting 50 lbs, work 8 hr shifts standing
-Be 18 years or older (requirement in CT to work with heavy equipment in bakery)
-Be a US Citizen/Legally Employable in the US
Duties include:
-Mixing doughs in spiral and planetary mixers
-Scaling and mixing recipes
-Dividing and shaping dough
-Baking Bread/Unloading Oven
-Assisting with inventory and ingredients receipt
